HOW IS A HOUSE INSPECTED?

A PestGuard Termite & Pest Control technician will usually spend 1 – 2 hours on site (depending on the size of the building), doing a termite inspection Central Coast, inspecting the structure and surrounds. A termite inspection is non-invasive and involves the visual inspection of timbers. The technician will use a tapper and an electronic moisture meter and will also visually inspect all accessible timbers. In addition to the walls of your home, the technician will also inspect the roof space, sub-floor space, the fence line, carports or garages, sheds or other structures and all garden areas.

If a suspect area is identified because of moisture or visual discrepancies, we then use the Termatrac T3i device to carry out additional tests.
